Anna is a Managing Director of BDI with over 20 years of experience in corporate restructuring and insolvency. Anna has spent much of professional life at global accounting firms conducting financial recovery mandates, business viability assessments, forensic reviews and bankruptcy and insolvency engagements involving small through large entities.

 

Anna has managed and executed numerous projects under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies Creditors’ Arrangement Act. Anna has led
numerous Court-appointed financial investigations, receiverships, bankruptcies, and liquidations across Canada. Anna has acted for both lenders and debtors as advisor or
Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT) with considerable experience in preference reviews and transactions at undervalue which resulted in successful litigation and significant
recoveries.

 

Anna’s experience encompasses various industries including, retail and wholesale consumer goods, real estate, co-operative housing, restaurants and franchises, publishing, construction, manufacturing, automotive, grain and agriculture products, cannabis, and film production. 

Anna is an active volunteer within the educational section of CAIRP having written course materials for the CIRP program and is a member of various CAIRP committees. Locally, Anna assists LIT candidates in their preparation for their oral board
examination. Anna has also been a panelist on a national online webinar presentation on fraud investigations.
